A rustic and beautiful modern hotel complex in the eastern part of Hamburg, located directly at the Berliner Tor in the eastern part of this Hanseatic city, in the Borgfelde district. It comprises two hotels: the modern Wyndham Super 8 and the four-star Holiday Inn. The distinctive aesthetics of the hotel complex on Wikingweg, which is in keeping with the city’s historic buildings, have certainly added to the charm of this part of Hamburg. The hotels are approximately three kilometres from Hamburg’s historic and awe-inspiring town hall at Alsterfleet and two kilometres from the main train station. The hotel complex offers over one thousand beds and a high standard of service, which, combined with its excellent location, provides an optimal starting point for exploring this beautiful Hanseatic city.

The authors of this delightful complex are architects from the renowned German design studio MPP, which have paid particular attention to detail. The corners of the façade and the connections to the neighbouring buildings, for example, have been designed and constructed with extreme care. Attention is also drawn to the canopy trims, which are clad in clinker tiles underneath and give the buildings a very modern feel. In addition, through the use of different thickness of clinker tiles, MPP’s architects managed to achieve the perfect aesthetic impression of a solid clinker brick façade.
